The challenge

A state geographic information agency needed to move land administration off paper files and fragmented records. Answering a basic question — who holds this parcel, under what documents, with what history? — meant physically retrieving files.

Parcel maps, ownership records, and documents lived in separate silos, making transactions slow, disputes hard to resolve, and revenue leakage invisible.

Our approach

Click-to-resolve parcel map

The cadastral fabric published as live map services; clicking any parcel opens its complete record.

Land files, digitized

A one-to-one digital land file per parcel: current and historical ownership, deeds, certificates, and attached documents.

Proper spatial foundations

A PostGIS spatial database with dedicated schemas for cadastre, land files, documents, and workflow — built for scale.

Open, integrable architecture

A documented REST API over every entity, so payment systems, registries, and e-government services can integrate rather than re-digitize.

Workflow support

Multi-step cadastral processes — registration, transfer, subdivision — modeled in the system rather than around it.
